DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN, IT’S THE *NATIONALS*

image

FEH.

I’ll be there tomorrow night, with Coop and Zoe and darling Will, who is my date, since TBF will be off in Asbury Park seeing a certain band whose name starts with the fifth letter of the alphabet (a place I cannot be due to the new job, a fact that is not helping my crankiness right now).

HOLY FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER, WHAT IS GOING ON IN THAT DUGOUT????

bear with me bubbe. it’s frustrating, yes, but now’s the time when we’ve got to step it up as supporters. it’s too easy to only be there when it’s good. i’m bringing my Mets pom pom tomorrow. I’m cheering my heart out. and i will give *at the very least* very stern looks to the boo-birds.

ya know, i paid my playoff invoice when i had just lost my job. i’ll be there until the last out. i think i’m okay on the loyalty front.

but right now this team isn’t playing like a team that wants a ring. doesn’t mean i don’t love them, doesn’t mean i won’t be there, doesn’t mean i won’t start booing (but i gotta tell ya, i’m not sure mota doesn’t rate the boos - or if not him, omar by proxy because he signed him for two fucking years, and let’s not mention the words CHAD BRADFORD)

How DARE you compare the 2007 Dominican/Jewish team called the New York Metropolitans to a Nazi blimp! As the leader of our Freedoms, I will ban this site and spy on you and TBF (who must be an Islamodemocommiefascistphillyneoleftistanarchistinheat)…

Do not forget that the Philadelphia Phillies are historically the worst team in the history of professional sport anywhere and are more Hindenburg-worthy.

...and yet here they are, kicking our butts.
