FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING.
I find myself having a lot of respect for Scott Schoeneweis right now:
“I don’t know what else to say,” Schoeneweis said. “I really don’t. There’s just nothing more to say. There’s no excuses. There’s nothing to say. Just win. If we score 10 and we give up nine in the bullpen and win the game—we win the game. That’s what it is right now. There’s no time to be weary. There’s no time for anything. I’ll pitch every day the rest of the season straight through. I’ll do whatever I can.”
