LETTER TO THE METS, 2009 SEASON FINALE.
Dear Mets Organization:
This isn’t going to cut it. Not by a long shot.
But you know that, right? You really don’t think that we’re so stupid that we’re going to view these as real, actionable changes and be willing to BELIEVE for 2010, right? Sure you do.

Manuel remaining will cost the Mets at least 5 games. Hopefully they’re still good enough to overcome that.
Unfortunately, Warthen may be the difference between 15game winning Perez and 3 game winning Perez.
I didn’t expect them to can Jerry. However, I find it hard to believe they think the pitchers responded well to Warthen. He and Razor would have been tops on my list to go.
The only vaguely positive thing was Mets management specifically saying they expected Omar and Jerry perform. But, if they don’t, what will the Wilpons do next?
