I didn’t say anything about it being any kind of ranking. It was the order in which I visited the ballparks.

Major Ooopsies on my part then. “writeups” and “descending order” were misinterpreted. Mea culpa.

If you know of anyone who ever went to games at Ebbets Field or the Polo Grounds you should get talking to them.

The Polo Grounds had short left field and right field walls and a deep centre field.

A team that inspired the book “Can’t Anybody Here Play This Game” played there for two years.
