TICKETS WE ORIGINALLY HELD:
- April 8
- April 11
- April 12 (Did I mention we picked up a Saturday plan? Um, we did.)
TICKETS WE BOUGHT SO WE COULD SEE JOHAN SANTANA’S FIRST START:
Well, we’ve now got *really* good f’ing seats to see… John Maine’s first start of the year (which, under normal circumstances I would be quite happy about, and when we originally looked at the rotation, it looked like we wouldn’t get to see Johnny for a while, but we bought good seats so I could be in a prime location to photograph Mr. Santana).
Right now it looks like we’ll be at Shea FOUR times that first week. I am almost thankful that Passover obviates any ability to go down to Philly (hi to any random family members reading this).
On that note, anyone looking for good upper reserved seats for Saturdays, drop a line, there are some we won’t be using....

that’s what it looks like, as per everything that’s been published. So Johan on Saturday. If it’s Friday, well, we’re there too. All we can do is wait and see, I guess.
Of course the season ticket holder is AWAY that weekend. I have to resend that memo that the world revolves around me to Omar Minaya. Sheesh.
Oh Btw, I sold those Thursday tix. We’re all set.
I, too, bought the tix for April 10 in the hopes of seeing Santana. But in addition to seeing John Maine (which I’m actually ok with, since he was so cool at Spring Training), we also get rally towels. Yay.
OK, so we’re thinking now Saturday the 12th will be Johan’s first start at Shea? I’m taking a cooking class on that Friday night, so I need to call Willie and tell him to please not make it the 11th ;-)
OK, I just bought $2 tix for Saturday… just in case.
If it’s not him, I’m out $13.50 for three tickets.
It if is him, I’ll be in Row U of the Upper Deck, so someone please tell me what happens.
Third post of the day, but my boyf and I have the Sunday package. If you want to trade Saturday for Sunday, let us know.

I’ll be making the trek in 3 times for the first homestand :) I am soooo not complaining, but it better not freaking rain! You think Willie sticks with the 5 man twice through? Johan to make his Shea debut on Saturday?
