THEY DON’T EAT. DON’T SLEEP.

Ed Vedder dedicated “Rats” at MSG last night to Shea (well, partially, while talking about Seattle history and oh, I was out at Shea Stadium the other night and they have big rats there. It gave me an excuse to yell LET’S GO METS).

And to the guy wearing the VEDDER 10 custom Mets t-shirt at the back of the floor… um, well, the jury is still out whether that is cool or not, just like it’s out on the guy with the custom Mariners jersey that said PEARL JAM 10. And of course, anything is better than someone with a Yankees jersey reading AMENT 10.

(We vaguely discussed approaching every person at MSG last night wearing Cubs gear and asking them to tell us who the backup catcher for the Cubs was… but then thought better of it. We’re mean, we know it.)

Henry Blanco.  And it is NOT cool to wear any team jersey with Vedder 10 on it, unless your name is Vedder and we all know he’d use 23 if it was his.

nice. and, very true.

no disrespect intended, but you gotta admit that the poseur level with cubs gear at PJ shows is at some kind of all-time high.

How was the show? Your seats? Any pics? I’m jumping the gun aren’t I?

Sweet show. Ace Frehley was there and came on and did Kiss’s “Black Diamon” with Mike & Matt singing. PJ@MSG just rules. I’m sure other bands rock the Garden just like PJ, but if you are a casual fan and ever get the chance to see them there, just do it. good times.

... but maybe i’m spoiled because i’ve never had worse than 4th row, lol!

i think tuesday was a better setlist, at least on paper. but THE ENTIRE GARDEN WAS SHAKING. no seriously. there is sold out and there is SOLD OUT, and there is crazy and there is CRAZY. this was the latter.

8th row, guy in front of me was 75xxx so we were in the right place.

no pics. TBF left his camera at home. and i’m glad because i spent too many shows too many years with a camera glued to my hand. and i wouldn’t want to be the idiot three rows in front of us with his f’ing camera in the air in my sightlines ALL NIGHT.

No, I can’t really deny the level of Cub bandwagon jumpers, especially at a PJ show.  I think I’m actually going to refrain from any Cub gear at the next 3 shows because of it.

As for the shows, kinda pissed I passed on MSG.  This whole tour has been crazy setlist time though, so I’m sure the 3 I am doing will not disappoint.

Yeah it’s cool to get a customized “Vedder” Mets jersey.  If it were 1995.  And you were 12.

What a terrible decision.  Honestly, what’s going through your head when making that purchase.

-Tuesday’s set was better.
-I’ve never felt the Garden shake and bounce like that.  The lights behind the stage were bouncing a gooooood amount.
-This is the 2nd time I’ve seen Frehley play with PJ.  If you asked me three years ago “How many times will you see a member of KISS?” I would’ve said 0.  I would also have been wrong.
