TONIGHT, TONIGHT.

I’m not going tonight. TBF has my ticket. I’m not optimistic he’ll be able to give it away at the box office.

It’s going to be freezing. I’m exhausted. I have to be up at 6 tomorrow. The next two days are very busy after work.

And it’s KILLING me that I’m not going.

What kind of baseball fan am I? A lame-ass one.

good thing you didn’t go and take the escalator

unless he was sliding down the bannister, which is what police are reporting.

and frankly no one should walk down a non-moving escalator and shea security is usually there to prevent it. I broke my foot in November because I walked down a non-moving escalator and either slipped, got pushed, or otherwise lost my balance.

You’re not a lame-ass baseball fan, far from it! One of the few rules I have is not to leave a baseball game until the last out, but man, sometimes it can’t be helped.  What are you supposed to do when the game is tied at the bottom of the 12th inning and you have to be up at the crack o’ dawn for work? Sometimes even the most devoted fans have to take a break.
