VIVA JOHAN!
Two images to share:
1. I’ve been following Joe Petruccio’s blog since its inception and find myself going there first thing after a big loss (or a dismal failure) to see how he’s interpreted the events in his own unique style. It’s honestly my favorite Mets blog in a long time.

2. 9-27-08. It will always be one of the best pitching performances I have ever seen, and it was hard not to call it to mind last night.
The entire night, TBF kept saying “We should have been at this game!” which, while true, wasn’t even in the cards. He went on Monday, we are going tonight. When he went on Monday, although I couldn’t go, I half-childishly didn’t want him to go without me. “What if something cool happens, and you’re there, but I’m not?” I said. After we watched last night’s game, his response was: “Now I understand what you were talking about.”
Whenever I missed a great Springsteen moment on tour I would remind myself that I couldn’t go to every show. So I guess this is the point where I remind myself that I can’t go to every game. You can try to hedge your bets, pick your cities, pick your pitchers, but you’ll never actually *know*. Which is, I suppose, part of the beauty and wonder of it all.

Thanks for the props! What a compliment.
This is one of my favorite places to read about the Mets!
Love The songs and your take on things.
Keep it up.
Peace
Joe
