HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY WEEKEND.

No Philly roadtrip for us. I declared the entire city offlimits (with certain exceptions) for 2009, and in hindsight, that was a wise move.

We are actually going to the House of Evil tomorrow on free corporate tickets my father got for us. At the time, we thought it might be our only affordable way into the new train station (if you’ve been there, you’ll get it), and at the time, the Blue Jays were good. After recent events, I wasn’t looking forward to this (and we are meeting other family there, so we can’t ditch it) until I checked the probable pitchers last night and found out that we will get to see Doc Halladay throwing for the Jays! It is also my chance to get some more photos and be able to do a full stadium writeup - I am remiss and am missing Fenway and Camden and hope to get those up this weekend.

Out to Flushing to do some photographs of Citi Field when no one’s around, and to finally check out the Shea markers. We never have time to do this on an actual game day.
